Field Study and Practicum Manager, SIT Graduate Institute
More than 25 organizations attended SIT Graduate Institute’s recent career fair, held on March 20, 2012, in the International Center on SIT’s Vermont campus. Both local businesses and employers from outside the region—including organizations from Virginia and Washington, D.C.—came to discuss employment opportunities with current SIT students. Of the 49 organizational representatives in attendance, 60 percent were SIT alumni.
There was an enormous turnout from the students, and the attending organizations walked away not only with a bundle of resumes, but also with a high level of respect for the students’ professional knowledge and skill sets.
